
Asia Hartgrove
Attorney
Asia Hartgrove is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment team, where she provides critical assistance with workplace investigations and employee disciplines, and helps address the day-to-day legal needs of New Jersey’s public employers.
Asia earned her J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. While there, Asia served as the President of the Business Law Society and held a host of in-house internships in higher education, telecommunications, and entertainment. Additionally, Asia provided pro-bono services as a Student Attorney for her law school’s Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic, in collaboration with Rising for Justice, as well as the school’s Whistleblower Protection Clinic, in partnership with the Government Accountability Project. After earning her law degree, Asia clerked for the Hon. Aravind Aithal, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Family Part.
In 2019, Asia obtained her B.A. in Strategic, Legal, and Management Communications from Howard University. While at Howard, Asia interned for both chambers of the United States Congress working for Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, II and Sen. Cory A. Booker, respectively.
In her spare time, Asia enjoys visiting farms, exploring museums, and indulging in retail therapy.
